What is Fazakstudios.co.uk?

Fazakstudios a community website for amateur and professional musicians, producers and remixers whom wish to share their own productions or knowledge, whether being signed or unsigned, in a band or, producing solo projects.

What are the Terms and Conditions?

Please see the Fazakstudios User Generated Content FAQ. This covers all material submitted to Fazakstudios, including audio.

When I submit music to you, does that mean you own it?

No. When you agree to the Terms and Conditions and submit music to us, you aren't signing over any ownership rights.

Do I have to live in the UK?

No. We except submissions from anywhere, provided that the track/s you submit are your own original works.

How do I submit my track/s and will it cost me anything?

1) You can submit your track/s to us via email. The relevant email address can be found via the Contact section.

If you have your files stored on another website, please provide us with a ‘downloadable’ link or, use the following file hosts that we’ve come to trust....

Please, don’t just send us a link to an MP3, we’d love it if you could provide us with a little information about yourself/band, website details, etc.

2) We will never ask for, or take any money for airing/selling your tracks.

We use www.dittomusic.com to sell any tracks and use their terms of service with regards to ‘Royalty’ payment.

Why do I need to register on the forums?

We need to store certain details about you as an artist, such as your name, location and email address. Providing your email address also helps us to keep in touch with you about how your music is progressing once we receive it. We will never pass nor sell on any email addresses or personal details of members.

I forgot my forum login details/can’t login - can you help?

There’s three solutions to this....

1) Make sure you ‘type in’ your username and password into the login boxes. Using auto-form filling will not work with logging in.

This is a security feature that is designed to identify if you are human and not a spam bot!!

2) So you have forgotten your login, huh!! Click on the ‘Login’ section which shall load the member login box.

Scroll down to the very bottom of the box and click on ‘Forgot your Password?’ Follow the on-screen instructions on resetting your details.

3) Still have a problem?!! Visit the Contact section and submit a support request.

Can I submit tracks containing samples, (music; and/or vocals)?

You can if you have permission to do so. Samples must be ‘Royalty Free’ and have no restrictions, such as additional end of user requirements, that would prevent Fazakstudios from airing/selling the track/s. We will remove any track/s that 3rd parties claim that the material may be theirs, used without permission.

Can I submit a cover or remix?

No. We can only consider original material for airplay on Energy Radio shows, so please don't upload covers or remixes of songs written by someone else.

Can I upload songs which feature swearing?

While you can upload tracks with swearing or adult content, it makes it tricky for our radio shows to play the tracks on air without first having to edit them. So, if you have clean radio edits that you can upload instead, please do.

Is there a limit to the size of file I can upload and in what format should I upload music?

At the moment, we aren’t restricting file sizes, but we ask that tracks last no longer than 10 minutes. Please upload your music in MP3 format only. Any other formats will be rejected. Remember, your music may end up being submitted to www.dittomusic.com (if requested), so try to send the highest quality MP3s you can.

The bit rate of your tracks should be 192kbps or higher (ideally, 320kbps).

Who will listen to the music I submit?

From Fazakstudios, this will be the Admin team, as nothing gets added to the Radio Service or www.dittomusic.com without their prior approval.

Once added, listeners will be pretty much anyone whom visits the main Fazakstudios.co.uk website. By all means, send links to friends, family, work colleagues, etc, just don’t spam them - you want them to listen, enjoy and come back for more, not block your link and send it to their spam box!!

I submitted the wrong thing - can I edit or delete my tracks?

Unfortunately, not at the moment, but we're working on adding this at a later date. For this reason, please verify that you are submitting the correct MP3 and check the spelling of your track title/description carefully. Check what you're submitting carefully. There’s nothing worse than realising that you’ve sent the wrong thing, moments after sending it!!

If you aren't sure whether it was successfully sent to us for whatever reason, it's best to wait and see if you receive a confirmation email, rather than submitting again. Please bare with us as this won’t be an immediate process; and may take a couple of hours before a ‘confirmation’ is sent, due to volumes of submissions.
